Comuna’s goal is to empower different payments systems in the region to grow in usership and business while adding value to its owners, users, creators and community.

Comuna aims to:

• Create a regional community that owns the largest network of independent payments providers
• Create value to everyone involved
• Enable a community led initiative that defines strategy and roadmap for the business, product and technology
• Allow for transparent decision making mechanisms that grant full accountability of the DAO’s direction
• Establish new ways of growing payments services by allowing the token to be the main engine for growth through rewards, staking, bounties, etc
• Continue to grow an interoperable payments network that is easy to deploy, quick to integrate and that can scale meeting the market’s needs
